Jeskit Soap has an antifungal & antibacterial Bar. Its contents like Ketoconazole & Zinc Pyrithione are antibacterial and antifungal agents. It is effective in reducing and controlling bacterial contamination. Ketoconazole is an antifungal drug used to prevent and treat skin and fungal infections. Zinc Pyrithione is best known for its use in treating dandruff and seborrhoeic dermatitis. It also has antibacterial properties and is effective against many pathogens.

Jeskit Bar Soap is a medicated antifungal and antibacterial cleansing bar, often used to treat body fungal infections, dandruff, and itchy scalp conditions.

1. Fights Fungal Infections (Body Fungus)

• Ketoconazole (2%):

  • A broad-spectrum antifungal.

  • Treats fungal skin infections like ringworm, athlete’s foot, tinea versicolor, jock itch, and seborrheic dermatitis.

2. Controls Dandruff and Itchy Scalp

• Zinc Pyrithione (ZPTO, 1%):

  • Controls dandruff, scalp flaking, and seborrheic dermatitis.

Possible Side Effects 

Although effective, Jeskit is medicated and can cause side effects in some users—especially with sensitive skin or overuse.

 1. Skin Irritation

• Ketoconazole and ZPTO can cause:

  • Burning or stinging

  • Redness or itching

  • Dry, flaky patches

• More common if left on too long or used more than recommended.

 2. Allergic Reactions (Rare)

• Symptoms may include:

  • Hives

  • Swelling (face/lips)

  • Severe itching or rash

• Could be triggered by active ingredients or soap base, fragrance, or preservatives.

 3. Dryness or Tightness

• Despite glycerin and aloe vera, prolonged use may still cause dry or tight skin, especially in people with already dry or sensitive skin.

 4. Eye Irritation

• Can cause burning or stinging if it enters the eyes during scalp use. Rinse thoroughly with water if contact occurs.

 5. Hair Dryness (with scalp use)

• May dry out the scalp or hair strands, especially if used frequently without conditioner.

• Always follow with a mild conditioner as recommended.

Proper Use Tips

• Use once daily or as directed by a physician.

• Apply only on affected areas, not the entire body if not needed.

• For scalp: rinse thoroughly after 4–5 minutes and use conditioner to avoid dryness.

• Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, or broken skin.

• Not suitable for infants or young children unless prescribed.
