Possible Side Effects
1. Skin Irritation / Dryness

Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulphate and Glycolic Acid can strip natural oils, potentially causing dryness or irritation, especially for sensitive skin.

Tea Tree Oil in high concentrations can also cause redness or stinging in some people.
2. Sensitivity to Sunlight
-
Glycolic Acid increases photosensitivity. If you don’t use sunscreen afterward, it may lead to sunburn or pigmentation.

-
Triclosan, Fragrance, and Phenoxyethanol are common allergens and may cause rashes, itching, or contact dermatitis in sensitive individuals.
4. Hormonal or Environmental Concerns
-
Triclosan has been linked to hormone disruption and environmental issues, which is why it is restricted or banned in several countries.
5. Eye Irritation
-
Ingredients like SLES or Glycolic Acid may cause stinging or irritation if they get into the eyes.
