Description

Here, are some pointers to know about our product Unigain Solution.

Benefits:

  1. Promotes Hair Growth

    • Minoxidil increases blood flow to hair follicles, prolongs the anagen (growth) phase, and stimulates regrowth in androgenetic alopecia (male pattern baldness).

  2. Reduces Hair Fall

    • Finasteride (Topical) helps reduce DHT (dihydrotestosterone) levels in the scalp — the hormone responsible for miniaturizing hair follicles and causing hair loss.

  3. Improves Hair Density & Thickness

    • Regular use may lead to visibly denser and stronger hair over time.

  4. Topical Application Reduces Systemic Side Effects

    • Compared to oral finasteride, topical application may reduce the risk of systemic side effects (though not completely).

  5. Non-Invasive Alternative

    • A safer and more accessible alternative to hair transplant procedures.

Possible Side Effects

Local Side Effects (More Common):

  • Itching or irritation at the application site

  • Redness or dryness of the scalp

  • Flaking or dandruff-like scaling

  • Temporary increase in hair shedding (initial phase)

Potential Systemic Side Effects (Less Common but Important to Know):

  • Finasteride-related (even topically):

    • Reduced libido

    • Erectile dysfunction

    • Gynecomastia (breast tenderness or enlargement in men)

    • Mood changes

While rare with topical use, these are still possible, especially if absorbed systemically.

Other Precautions:

  • Not for use by women or children

  • Pregnant women should avoid contact with the product — finasteride can be harmful to a developing fetus

  • Avoid applying on broken or inflamed skin

  • Wash hands after use
